The latest announcement from Kofax of the launch of their TotalAgility AP Automation solution represents the culmination of four years of planning and some high profile acquisitions, notably Singularity, Altosoft, and more recently, Kapow.  As a company which invests heavily in R&D, the new platform offers a flexibility in application which, the company hopes, will broaden the market for Kofax and its appeal to customers. And, if Anthony Macciola's (CTO Kofax) claims of doubling the financial expectations of its new mobile solution are anything to go by, it's working.

According to Demica’s latest research report on the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) market, 75% of top European banks still believe growth prospects for SCF remain ‘strong’ or ‘very strong’.

Global business confidence is returning, according to the Annual Business Index by Sage. The index was complied with input from over 11,000 small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) in 17 countries across the world and found that businesses are now more confident than they have been in three years since the index first started. Businesses were most confident about their own prospects, which scored a global average of 62.01 out of 100.

Bottomline Technologies and Abel Solutions (a US-based consulting firm focusing on the delivery of business solutions on the SharePoint platform), have partnered to extend the Accounts Payable Management from SharePoint users. Under the agreement, Abel Solutions will provide systems integration, consulting and deployment services for those implementing Transform AP - Bottomline Technologies' accounts payable (AP) management and visibility add-on for SharePoint. Earlier this year Bottomline also became the SWIFT business partner for the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands.
