Serco appoints Aggreko executive as Group CFO

The outsourcing giant Serco has appointed Angus Cockburn from Aggreko plc as Group Chief Financial Officer, as from the end of October 2014.

In February this year, Serco appointed Aggreko boss Rupert Soames as chief executive after the tagging scandal. Angus had worked with Rupert Soames for eleven years whilst he served as CEO of Aggreko.

Angus is currently the interim Chief Executive Officer at Aggreko plc, the FTSE100 support services company and world's largest temporary power generation and temperature control business.  He has served Aggreko in this role since April 2014 having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2000.

Andrew Jenner will continue as the Group's Chief Financial Officer until 30 September 2014.
