| Wipro bag $143m outsourcing deal from Levi Strauss |

Thursday 13th November, 2014 Wipro has secured a $143 million 5-year outsourcing deal from Levi Strauss, in a move that the company anticipates will generate cost savings of around $200m, once fully implemented. The resturcting and efficency excercise is expected to result in cuts of up to 500 jobs largely as a result of streamlining and elimination of job duplication. The deal will involve Levi Strauss outsourcing certain major global business services including finance and HR.
