XERO appoints Douglas Jeffries as CFO

Xero Ltd has appointed Douglas Jeffries to its leadership team with dual roles as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Xero’s current CFO, Ross Jenkins plans to take over as Xero’s Chief Operating Officer responsible for all field operations.

It's a key move for Xero with Jeffries bringing around 30 years of financial, strategic and operational leadership gained at such companies such as, RetailMeNot, Taleo Corporation (which was acquired by Oracle), Palm Inc (acquired by HP) and Ebay Inc. He will be responsible for all of Xero’s financial and administrative functions and is due to take up his new position by March 2015.

The company's also announced that Greg Volm - previously Senior Director of North America Sales for Zendesk - will take over as Vice President of US Sales and Matt Jefferson as UK Sales Director.
