b-pack, a SaaS cloud technology provider in Procure-to-Pay solutions, has opened a new office in London's Square Mile. The new location is likely to prove key to serving b-pack’s existing customers, by ensuring account management and developing new opportunities in Northern Europe.

As part of the expansion into the UK, John Owens has been appointed as a regional director responsible for business development of b-pack in Britain, Ireland and Nordic countries. Owens has over thirty years' experience in business development and account management, with over half of it in the business outsourcing market. Before joining b-pack at the end of 2014, he was an enterprise account director for an Irish based e-sourcing software company.

John Owens said, "Being involved in the process management solutions industry from 1999, I’ve seen how organisations have become much more sophisticated in their needs. Back then it was enough to simply outsource the problem; now CPOs and CFOs want to better understand what is happening with tail spend, whilst automating the day to day activity."

Julien Nadaud, CEO and President of b-pack said, "We feel the time is right to establish a fixed presence and resource in the UK; allowing us to offer the Northern European market a unique b-pack product."
