Financial automation software company BlackLine has been selected to help Shell optimise its financial close processes.  As part of the newly signed, multi-year contract, Shell will use BlackLine’s cloud-based Finance Controls and Automation Platform alongside software from SAP® to automate core financial close processes, increase productivity and efficiency, and further mitigate risk across the company’s Finance and Accounting departments.

BlackLine was recently listed by Gartner as a 'Best-of-Breed' provider for Enhanced Finance Controls and Automation (EFCA) software - a renamed category formerly called Close/Reconciliation Management by the global technology industry leader.
