Wednesday 5th September, 2012 Tradeshift, an e-invoicing and B2B network provider has been selected by a new customer to implement their business network and e-invoicing solution. According to TechCrunch, Tradeshift founder Christian Lanng would neither confirm nor deny the name of the client but well-placed sources have confirmed that it’s Mitie, a strategic outsourcing, facilities, energy and properties services company and a leading FTSE 250. TechCrunch also reported,” In an obscure blog post on his site Lanng referred to a new client as an enterprise which “manages facilities, energy and properties for its clients and is a leading FTSE 250 support services business.” Tradeshift recently raised another $7m round from Notion Capital and already has angel investment from former MySQL CEO Mårten Mickos and founding investor in Last.fm Stefan Glaenzer, alongside PayPal. It has $24m in funding to date. The company have also been awarded recent contracts with the National Health Service and Danish and French governments.
