Document management and imaging software author, Version One, has been given a Green Apple Award for the environmental benefits of its newly developed DbAuthorise Mobile solution. Version One, which has been winning Green Apple Awards for the last ten years, received the accolade from dog rescue charity K9-Angels, during a ceremony at the House of Commons on 12 November 2012.

The Green Apple Awards run by independent environment group, The Green Organisation, honour companies that demonstrate environmental best practice. The awards are well established as being one of the most influential environmental award schemes worldwide.

DbAuthorise Mobile enables documents, such as invoices, to be authorised electronically via handheld devices, reducing the wasteful paper-based approval of documents. With DbAuthorise Mobile, imaged supplier invoices can be instantly authorised, rejected or queried from any email-enabled Smartphone or tablet, including Blackberrys, iPhones, iPads and Androids.
