Version One, which has been winning Green Apple Awards for the last ten years, received the accolade from dog rescue charity K9-Angels, during a ceremony at the House of Commons on 12 November 2012. The Green Apple Awards run by independent environment group, The Green Organisation, honour companies that demonstrate environmental best practice. The awards are well established as being one of the most influential environmental award schemes worldwide. Greg Ford, Version One’s Managing Director says, “It is an honour to win a Green Apple Award for the tenth year running. Version One is one of the pioneers of green software solutions for the finance department and to continue to have our environmental efforts recognised by The Green Organisation is a great achievement.” DbAuthorise Mobile enables documents, such as invoices, to be authorised electronically via handheld devices, reducing the wasteful paper-based approval of documents. With DbAuthorise Mobile, imaged supplier invoices can be instantly authorised, rejected or queried from any email-enabled Smartphone or tablet, including Blackberrys, iPhones, iPads and Androids. Ford continues, “DbAuthorise Mobile is the latest addition to our document management suite. This innovative technology enables finance departments to significantly cut paper use and reduce carbon emissions while streamlining their invoice processes.” Version One's document management and imaging software enables the electronic storage, retrieval, management, delivery, authorisation and processing of business documents such as invoices, purchase orders and statements. Version One's 'paperless office' technology is seamlessly integrated into all major accounting and enterprise resource planning systems. |
