A new market report by international market analyst, Bruno Koch of Billentis, looks in-depth at the e-invoicing/ E-Billing worldwide marketplace.

According to Billentis, more and more customers expect invoices from their suppliers in electronic form. Rates of growth of 20-30% are expected in the market in the coming years.

Key findings by region include;

• Main drivers in North America are Payment, Trade Finance and Procurement.
• Latin America E-Invoicing is pushed by the public sector, with Brazil, Mexico and Chile being the market leaders
• Increased growth rates in the European marketplace are due to higher publicity and increasing demand and public sector initiatives.
• The North America market for E-Invoicing is growing, currently at $280 million.
• In Europe - service provider community expected to generate transaction based E-Invoicing turnover of about 1.7 billion Euro.
