Shared Services Forum launches "Big Share Week"

Tuesday 19th November, 2013

Big Share Week, being run by Shared Services Forum UK (SSF), takes place from 25th to 29th November 2013.  The inaugural event which is set to be an annual highlight of SSF's year, has been timed to capitalize on the momentum gained through the Forum UK’s Annual Conference that takes place every October by encouraging member and potential member organisations, industry leaders, suppliers and stakeholders to engage with the Forum and share opinions, thought-leadership and best practice both on and offline and help shape plans for the Forum in 2014 in terms of topics, events, promoting best practice and the evolution of the sector as a whole.

During Big Share Week, which is supported by ReadSoft, Shared Services Forum UK is hosting its Annual Leaders’ Meeting and Christmas Lunch at the Houses of Parliament with speaker Ken Livingstone as well as garnering members opinion on trends and topics, updating the content on our website – encouraging members to share new content and launching our new Member Newsletter.

Members and sector professionals are encouraged to get involved in whatever way they can –whether it be sharing information (documents, presentations, blogs, news stories, team updates or award wins), giving us opinions by completing our questionnaire or simply promoting the Forum to colleagues and friends.

Said Adam Chapman, Director of Marketing, ReadSoft UK,

“ReadSoft is delighted to be involved with this ground-breaking initiative that yet again underpins Shared Services Forum UK’s ethos of delivering quality knowledge-sharing and really listening to their members - its programme for 2014 will very much reflect the needs and vision of its members – something the Forum is particularly good at doing.  For the past two-years we’ve seen first-hand how this not for profit organisation really gets under the skin of key topics and trends in the industry and goes the extra mile to serve leaders and practitioners in Shared Services.  It’s a philosophy that we share at ReadSoft and look forward to expanding into 2014 and beyond.”
