Another high profile executive exit at Infosys

Friday 20th December, 2013

Infosys vice president and financial services head for the Americas, Sudhir Chaturvedi, has resigned from the company, marking yet another high profile exit.

The development comes at a time of restructuring within the company overseen by co-founder and Chairman Narayana Murthy who returned to the company in June in a bid to revive its fortunes.

In July, the global head of sales resigned, following senior VP Shaji Farooq, who had been with Infosys for a decade and who left last year to join rival Wipro.

In the June quarter, the North American market contributed 61.4 per cent of Infosys’ revenue.

Mr Murthy has made new appointments in its executive council as a part of his turnaround plan.
