Last month an intimate group of enthusiastic professionals gathered at Sharedserviceslink.com's  America Square Conference Centre in London to discuss everything from getting started with e-invoicing implementation to the top tips and best practise strategies to design significant improvements to existing programmes.

Conference chair and CEO of sharedserviceslink Susie West opened the day with an introduction to e-Invoicing, presenting her ‘7 steps to e-Invoicing success, from preparation to roll-out’ and later facilitating a number of benchmarking and round-table discussions with the group.

Two brilliant presentations were also held by Sue Coleman, Global P2P Process Owner at GlaxoSmithKline who discussed her ‘5 critical success factors to achieving 90% e-Invoicing,’ and Christiaan Van Der Valk, Company President at Trustweaver who was invited back to deliver his eye-opening presentation on e-Invoicing and VAT compliance for a second time following a flood of positive feedback after The European VAT Summit 2014.

Christiaan’s presentation focused on all of the essential factors that businesses need to take into account when developing a compliance strategy, and he really drilled down to every aspect of the process.

Addressing the specific regulations and jurisdictions of numerous international countries, alongside scheduled changes to international VAT law, Christiaan provided the audience with immense insight into the what, the why, and the how of VAT compliance, and why e-Invoicing is so essential to secure it.

To find out what you missed, you can listen in to Christiaan’s presentation now, e-Invoicing and VAT compliance: The mystery solved.’
