Four of the UK’s top eight temperature controlled logistics businesses are achieving savings using an e-invoicing service by Atlas Products.
In the past 12 months Atlas has electronically processed almost a quarter of a million invoices for these companies, NFT, Culina Logistics, Yearsley Logistics and Grocontinental.

The Telegraph has reported that the Co-op Bank has confirmed it made a loss of £1.3bn last year and will remain loss-making for the next two years as the troubled lender published its twice delayed annual results.
The lender said it had begun talks on a £400m fund raising and warned that without the new money it would be in breach of its minimum capital requirement.

Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) has announced £410 million in funding to help councils transform the way they run local services.
A further £320 million is to be made available in 2014 to 2015 and 2015 to 2016 to areas with ambitious plans for improving services that could include integrating health and social care.

According to the latest Deloitte CFO Survey for the first quarter 2014, greater confidence about growth in the UK and euro area is supporting corporate investment.
The survey gauged the views of 126 CFOs, including 27 FTSE 100 and 45 FTSE 250 companies.
