Coupa has partnered with the corporate travel brand Orbitz for Business, to offer what the company refers to as a seamless integration between their services and provide customers with a premier travel booking and expense management solution. Coupa’s expense management software will be integrated into the Orbitz for Business booking tool later this year.

The European Commission has proposed a draft directive on e-invoicing in public procurement, accompanied by a communication setting out its vision for end-to-end e-procurement. E-invoicing is an important step towards paperless public administration (e-government) in Europe – one of the priorities of the Digital Agenda - and offers the potential for significant economic as well as environmental benefits.

Despite some major advances in AP processing, particularly over the last three to four years, a recent report conducted by Accounts Payable News, has found that the top operational difficulty within accounts payable remains keeping track of invoices and maintaining an appropriate level of visibility. A further 24% highlighted that maintaining their master supplier file remained a key challenge.
